I have flown over the Atlantic a gazillion times. I have flown with Aeroflot. This must have been the worst flight ever. Why do I hear flight attendats arguing with passengers all the time? Why dont I get my own TV (as I do on most modern airlines? Why dont the flight attendats hand out the necessary forms (for us Europeans, immigration form and customs declaration)?
Because they have your money already and truly don't care what happens after that. ALL Lufthansa's staff seem to be rude and/or incompetent. Their check-in desks open late; they don't ask whether you want aisle or window and seem irritated when you ask; the people who put their website together are either useless or evil geniuses; the people who man their phones are so unhelpful i started to wonder if it was a joke. When my flight was late there was no explanation or even acknowledgment from the captain or air crew. Even the food is terrible. If you're going to do minimal catering, why make it a ham roll of all things? Vegetarians and certain religious groups are automatically excluded - which they'd have realised had they spent as long as three seconds thinking about it. The management treat us with contempt and have given their staff carte blache to do likewise.
